At Stardust Face Painting we believe that hygiene, health and safety are so important and essential that they warrant a page of their own. The easiest way to convey our strictest health and safety policy is to list it as do's and dont's:
|
| We always do: |
- Ensure that we are fully insured
- Arrive at events in smart, clean uniform with tied back hair
- Use only professional grade paints and products that are hypo-allergenic, contain anti-bacterial agents, are water based, are washable, are not tested on animals and comply with current safety regulations (examples of paints used are Snazaroo and Grimas)
- Own immaculate face painting kits with clean paints, machine-washed sponges, clean paint brushes and lots of clean water
- Keep our work area, paints, brushes and other equipment clean throughout the painting session
- Use a fresh, clean sponge for each face
- Change painting water between each face
- Rinse brushes between each face
|
| We always don't: |
- Paint any one who does not wish to be painted
- Paint any one who is under three years of age
- Paint any one who has had an allergic reaction to face paints
- Paint any one who has an eye infection including conjunctivitis
- Paint anyone who has any open cuts, grazes, sores or coldsores on the face or area to be painted
- Paint anyone who has any skin condition or infection of the face or area to be painted including eczema or psoriasis
- Paint any one who has a food allergy (including nut allergies) or any allergy towards skin care products, cosmetics or soap
